By maintenance free means all that is needed is to mount the radiator then the block/pump assembly as it is pre-filled with the required coolant and all components are installed. With universal socket compatibility this cooler fits a full range of processor needs from AMD (AM2/AM2+/AM3/FM1) to Intel (775/1155/1156/1366/2011) this cooler even offers correct mounting for the yet to be released AMD socket FM1 and Intel 2011. Includes a single variable fan to allow for PWM control by the systems motherboard or user via the included VR knob of fan speed to provide cooling as needed and silence when you want it.
